That's what you use to keep the small guys away and get those big guys  I've tried to get into streamers more lately. They're a lot of fun.

The same shit everyone else has.
Some of those are bigger than the trout I catch.

If I fished those on some of my favorite streams, Id never catch anything

Yea, we've got streams like that here, too. If im going for quantity or a mess to eat, I'll throw the little stuff. But if I know there should be some big guys around and want a fight, ill throw those.

Took a trip up to northern Maine. I'm usually good at avoiding the camera, but here I am.

    Getting out is what's important!!

Like I joke with people and there's some truth perhaps.

"90% of success is simply showing up"

    My fishing motto is this:

"I fish not to find myself, but to lose myself"

How'd the Patagonia sling pack work out for you?

It is great. Really liking it a lot. Having never fished with one, I have been learning where/how to keep things.
I really like the front side and back side pockets. Have not found that I needed something in another place (yet ).
Money well spent. Glad I got it.
Thanks for all the help deciding on getting a sling pack as opposed to a vest.

Glad it worked out...I'm still rearranging mine all the time, so it's "normal"...hehe.

Helping my neighbor with some projects on one of his apt buildings this am....but this afternoon I'm taking my 10 yr old nephew out. Going to stay local in southern Maine (near Portland) chasing crappie & bass from my canoe.

Another plus for the sling pack.....I fish ponds a lot with canoe. I can attach the sling pack to the wooden canoe seats near the gunwale. It's not flipping around the bottom getting in the way, tangling line, getting wet, etc. I just spin it when I need something. Almost acts as one of those under seat storage bags.

    Versatile!!

Sure is. It is in the back of the truck all the time. Can stop whenever I want.
