Is there any way to put a cover on there w/reflector on the inside of that cover to aim the light more downward.

 

I could custom build you a unit with the LEDs off the surface and aim them downward if you want. Let me know.

thanks guys. i moved my trigger magnets today and replaced the batteries in both sets. the center console i moved the magnet just aft but almost touching that screw hole shown in your instructions. yes, i followed the picture you had shown all along and the trigger has 3 times the room to activate now. the glove box i ended up mounting offset towards the passenger side and vertical fashion for best results, lots of room there now. what was happening before was the light was deactivating while the door was closing but then once it was latched the light would activate again because of the distance changing. once i offset the magnets, everything worked perfect.

for those installing, the center console is easy to check for leaking light... to check the glovebox, you will see it if you put your head in the footwell and look directly UP into the horizontal seam where the glove box closes against the dash.

i love these lights, not sure how i lived without them...

 

Are these still available and is a version with a case available? I was browsing your site and didn't see that particular part. I am trying to clean up my center console and some lighting would be awesome

 

did you ever make a cased version? I have always been looking for a light for both my center console and glove box.

 

Ordered the 3VP on the 1st of this month....whats the turn around time..haven't had a confirmation, or status update....the console lights got to me within a week....#back-order issues..??

Received my order from over three weeks ago today,installed and seem relatively effective, these are simple, utile lights which serves a pretty decent output. I know have the dash,console, and glove box lighting from Flyzeye.....4 outta' 5 stars.....shipping and communication a bit lax...!

Don't suppose you guys are shipping to canada yet. I wanted to pick up your product. There is a similar product being produced in Canada now but they cost a little more.

 

We do ship to Canada - unfortunately, our website cannot handle non-CONUS addresses.

If you want something, just ask. We used to ship to Canada for the same prices but, we are forced to charge a little bit more now.

At any rate, please let me know - I am at this moment (right before and soon after this reply) working on a batch of 3VPs. Yes, at 11:08 PM, I am working by hand, on these awesome little lights. Let me know. I'll check back in a little while - during my 'break' time.

 

I've never found a better group of guys providing a more personalized experience and product. Also worth mentioning that at any time I know direct contact was just an email or phone call away.

When I remarked that the unit was too bright for my preference of night driving Dennis even called me to take info about a custom unit to build me. You guys are great.

An idea for you guys...
Our ignition tumblers are non lit. The steering column cover is very easy to remove / replace. You guys should explore wiring something in there that we can drill a small hole for in the trim to shed some very dim led light on the ignition...
