    We are still working with our electronics designer trying to finalize the circuitry for the V3. Please try to be patient as we attempt to perfect this latest creation.

    A release date is still pending. We too are anxiously awaiting! :eek:

    The V3 is expected to have an RGB circuit capable of producing 6+ colors while adding a utility light feature triggered by an IR proximity switch with a capacitive fade back to previous setting.

    It is also expected to be wired slightly differently - we plan to connect it directly to the light circuit and NOT the dimmer circuit as on the V2W. This will facilitate better on-board dimming control but, lose the function of OEM dimming sync with the Tacoma.

    The unit will look essentially the same but is expected to have an additional color selection button and IR ports for the proximity system.

    It will mount the same as the V2W and have the same gold spring contacts.

    It will also function as a remote light as the V2W currently does but is expected to switch to full bright (white LEDs) automatically when discounted.

    The 'naked light' that we are about to release will be battery-powered (2 CR3032 3V), contain 2 LEDs, and dismount magnetically to a mounting plate (similar to the V1 mounting system).

    Pricing is expected to be under $15.00 (discounts and first dibs go to existing V1 & V2W owners).

    This product will likely also be marketed for those who have coolers (it can get pretty dark in there on a moonless night).

    Initially, the units will be offered in cool white. Later, as demand dictates, other colors will likely appear as 'standard' offerings.
