Hey all, long time lurker and maybe a few time prior poster. Have had my 13 Taco for about 6 years and 30k. Moved not too long ago and find my FM reception spotty at best and that’s any station, not just what I am attempting to tune in. I searched a bit on this issue and found a thread about corrosion of the antenna base, pulled that apart but everything seems ok. I believe I’m dealing with the penalty of living in a rural area with many hills. Any real experience with a FM signal booster? Amazon seems full of gimmicks with mixed reviews. I’m trying to pickup stations about ~15 miles away and seem to be in range under ~13 miles, but I’m often heading further away, toward the center of town. It may be the hills more than the distance causing issue. Annoyingly, the wife’s Subaru receives these stations significantly better, not perfect, and it has one of those dinky stubby antennas.
