Yes, agreed. but hes not saying hes not gonna pay the fine. Hes just saying it sucks... no need for these guys to point out what hes done wrong. Hes already been told that by the officer...

 

its cool dude, you swerved hit a family of 5 coming back from church cause you wanted to attract some attention. the family will get over their 2 kids killed. if he was doing it in an empty back road, knock yourself out, if he got caught on a main highway at rushhour, then he deserved it.

 

well, we don't know if he was on a highway so i cant say much about that.. but he was celebrating, not trying to attract attention... so he was probably not on a populated street.

I got a reckless driving ticket about a year ago. Being stupid sliding around on a dirt road at 10 o'clock at night. The road is in the city and a sheriff's deputy was walking his bomb dog down another road and saw me. I did get it reduced alot thought. If you don't have any recent tickets just show a little remorse and explain to the cop that you know it was a stupid decision and you know better. If he thinks he scared you enough that you won't try it again he might cut you some slack. Don't do like somebody up here ^^^ said and try to give him a BS excuse like your hand slipped or something. No chance he'll cut you any slack if you try to lie to him.

I'm no expert but I think if they write a reckless driving ticket they have more discretion to change it. The officer who wrote mine told the judge he never clocked me and had the original ticket dismissed. He reduced it to minor speeding which was 2 points and $81.

 

I dont feel bad. sucks that the ticket costed that much. I dont like wheelies on the road, reminds of this shit.

I got reckless driving when I was 17 (going 120+ in the dessert to Vegas). I got a lot of shit for it from everyone. I ended up having to pay $850. It was dumb and stupid and I deserved every lit bit of shit from everyone and every cent of that fine.

Same thing goes for you. Dumb things like that are uncalled for. I hope you take this as a learning experience and prevent yourself from doing this again.
