Can't deny they are both remarkably similar. Would love the feed back from guys running them with pros and cons. Want to buy a set but not sure what to go with.

You can actually buy the FNs. SCS likes to feign limited availability and it's a pain in the ass to buy anything from them.

Well then. How exactly is it that Vin "likes to feign limited availability and it's a pain in the ass to buy anything from them"?

Wasn't for me. Vin was great. I love my F5s

Vin is a great guy and easy to talk to as well. I loved my F5s. Vin does smaller production runs, he's a small business so it makes sense not to have huge amounts of stock on hand, large backstock kills small companies.

I think they are both great companies and wheels. Weights are similar as are the finishes most commonly available, flip a coin and you cant go wrong.

I ended up going with FN wheels after the SCS wheels I wanted wouldn't be available for several months. (I am mr Instant gratification) I understand it's a smaller business so I can't blame them for not always having stock. It's too bad cuz they would of definitely had my money... and many others it sounds like. Either way nice wheels, you can't go wrong either way.

This is a story you'll hear over and over again. Not that SCS doesn't have nice wheels, they are just clearly purposely doing small batches to create hype and scarcity. I don't hate the player, I just hate the game.

I got my F5s quickly and easily. My vote is SCS, but both look nice.

I had no issues ordering and receiving mine, didn't even have to wait. They are a small company, patience is a virtue I suppose tho.

Everyone and their mom has scs f5s here in the pnw. They definitely arent scarce around here and seem to be just as common as trd pro wheels. I didn't think they were difficult to get ahold of.

I think its all about timing. Its great most people are able to get them when they want though. I just got unlucky I guess :D

I got the five stars. Good wheels, quality finish. Awsome customer from Dustin at fn. inventory wasn’t an issue when I ordered from him too.

I’d like to try to get my hands on some F5 if I get the chance. Seems like obtaining Jordan’s are easier than these wheels.

If you have been to Vin’s shop you will know why it’s limited. They can’t hold More than X amount of stock. They were looking at expanding to fill. The past year they blew up. They stock what they can hold and ship out and each new run needs to be made and shipped form overseas.

Both wheels are nice but in the end get what you can and all will be good. I lucked out and was able to lock up locally right before the onslaught of limited availability.

    So they're made in China?
Are the FN's made in China too?

Fairly positive the FN wheels are manufactured in China along with most OEM vehicle wheels including most of Toyota's...
