FN fanboys

I finally got to shoot my FNS-9L the other day. I took the long slide with my full size and the compact and wow...the long slide is my new favorite! Solid 1" groups from 10 and 12 yards. I am very happy with this pistol!

anyone have the 509 or put any rounds through one would appreciate your input

 

I held one the other day and it was pretty sweet. I thought about trading one of my FNS's for it but I couldn't muster the balls to do it. I'm afraid I am going to have to buy one as my new years gift. LOL!!

 

I also have held it never shot it..On paper I don't see how it's much different that the standard FNS?

 

Yeah man, I am not really sure how it is too much different. I think it's a little lighter. I am a little afraid I am going to shoot it and its not going to be anything like my FNS's.

had to have been something wrong with the barrel I'm guessing. My FiveSeven is the most accurate handgun I have.

 

FiveSeven with 30rd mags and Laserlyte green laser and light/strobe light combo. Also have a FNP 9 which has always been good to me.

 

I have a feeling it was something with the gun. I loved everything about it! Just wasn't a consistent shooter, the one I had that is. I definitely want to get another one hopefully this year.

 

they are very fun to shoot! but a bit expensive. Elite Ammunition loads some pretty hot 5.7 rounds. It actually pushed FN to release the higher velocity ss198lf cartridge. 2480 fps. I haven't tried the EA ammo but want to soon.

I looked into their ammo when I had mine, Looks like they have a couple more offerings. They are a bit expensive, just need to know the right people. luckily I had/ have a good hookup on the guns and ammo. When companies load your works bullet in their ammo they usally cut you a good deal haha.
