Those lug nuts would work with the FN wheels, Dustin can also provide you with lugnuts at the same time when you purchase the wheels, he has some and they are well priced.

I am also guilty of wanting instant gratification. When you know what you want its hard not to have it right away. Having a time frame helps a lot!

My impatience caused me to call again... twice today. First around 9-10am pdt, second call 1-2pm pdt(I'm in Dallas, TX). I heard back from Dustin @JdMeF9SiR2 about 10 minutes after the second call (4th contact) and he was also looking at the email i sent originally on Monday. We discussed options for my order of 5 FN F(x) Pro wheels in Matte Bronze (gotta have the matching spare!) and he should have them shipped by next wedn 10/5/16. Couldn't be more excited! Patience is a virtue and persistence payed off. His customer service and clear explanation of his process was phenomenal. After working in retail for a long time his transparency is what every business should represent and stick by. Now to order my Ko2's(265/70 r17) and setup appointments for an alignment and my 5k mi maintenance. Couldn't be more excited for my first real upgrade to the truck. Should have them on within 2 weeks and will post picks as soon as i can. Though it will be the same color scheme as @sidzer0's rig on the first page.

Got me a great set of FN wheels installed today with new tires to go with them. Let me say that Dustin is pretty awesome, worked with me on the wheels I had to have and kept me posted on delivery and shipping as well. Just my opinion, but I think these are some of the best looking wheels out there. High gloss gunmetal.. . . .IMG_2920.jpgIMG_2919.jpg

So maybe this is a dumb question but I've noticed there are 2 different physical styles of these wheels (aside from possible color variations). The first pic and most common I've seen has the flat bolt area and center cap where as the 2nd pic has a raised peak right at the center cap. Anybody shed some light on this. I like the extra accent of the raised center cap portion but just want to make sure of which model is available etc for the Tacoma. And price, that's very important too

Well crap, like that one better but not really interested in paying the $300+ a wheel they probably go for. Guess I'll have to settle for the other

The Toyota wheels are also narrower with less offset. The fn wheel is 17x8 and 24 pounds vs the Toyota 17x7 and 28 lbs.

Also, Dustin informed me His "matte" is more of a satin, compared to the true flat matte on the Toyota wheel.. Issue is, the flatter finish stains worse being more porous and wont look good for as long and is harder to clean because is basically rougher to get the flat look. The satin is non reflective, but is much easier to clean and will last longer. Things to consider.

Great info! Thanks so much! U know how much the the 3rd gen trd OR 16s weigh? Just curious what the rotational weight sacrifice might be for aesthetics lol. (Bc it matters)

Looks good! I debated the high gloss gunmetal but was worried it wouldn't be dark enough contrast on my white taco. They appear to be pretty dang dark tho!

They are pretty dark! I had actually hoped them to be a little lighter since at night they look totally black but when they're clean they look fantastic regardless of the exact shade.

    Working on it!
Has anyone done or seen the FX PRO wheel in the Titanium Silver like the BFD comes in... I have a MGM Tacoma and I don't like the matte black wheels, add I'm not sold on the grey on grey look.

    Thanks
    Nick

After reading every page of this thread and the Cooper S/T Maxx thread, I finally purchased FN f(x) Pro Wheels in matte gunmetal from Dustin and got my Cooper S/T Maxx (285/70R17) tires installed this past Friday. As many other people have stated, these are quality wheels from a quality guy. Dustin went the extra mile and met me on his day off so that I could purchase the wheels directly from him and save the shipping costs. He is a professional who aims to please his customers and he seems very serious about putting out a great product at a great price. You won't be disappointed with these wheels!
