Just busting your chops. At my age I'm lucky to stay up that late on New Year's Eve lol. I appreciate your compliment on the truck. I have enjoyed playing with it. I have a new custom decal for the bedside that got painted so I need to put that on as well. My OCD won't let me ride around with one side done and not the other for very long. I actually live in the Canton area north of Atlanta closer to the mountains or as some say foothills..haha. I went back-and-forth between Eibach and bill Billstein and from all the research I did I felt like the Eibach were a better fit for me. I don't think you could go wrong with either set up. This will also be my 1st lift installed. I went with BFG KO2's in 265 70 17. I think a black or white 4runner would be nice. Just keep in mind that black will be hard to keep clean lol.

Put my deposit down today to reserve some of these Dark Gunmetal High Gloss beauties! Absolutely cannot wait. Dustin is one of the coolest dudes I’ve ever talked to. Even after getting the news today I’m Covid positive and gonna have to postpone my vacation to Orange County tomorrow. Perfect timing eh !? But hey, I’m gettin some FN wheels man ! How could u not be stoked about that

I know you are excited and you won't be disappointed. Yes Dustin is a great guy to deal with. Spent a lot of time talking with me to help me make the right decision. Sorry to hear about covid and your trip being postponed. Hang in there and feel better.

you da man! appreciate the kind thoughts and well wishes.. yeah unfortunately this gives me some free time to of course spend more money on sites like this! lol yeah after talking to u and dustin I think the 265/70/17 is the size to go to. stock is what 265/65/17, so not much more than that... and I plan to go with an all terrain tread pattern. probably will go with the KO2's or some folks have recommended the Falken Wildpeaks over the KO2's because of the better performance in wet conditions I believe? I won't really be offroading at all.. I mean I haven't in the almost 13 years i've had the truck! ha this is purely cosmetic only and it's a 2WD anyways. did you do a lot of research on them when you were buying tires? thanks

I know there are a few good tires out there and I really did not do much research. I have had BFG's in the past and really liked them plus I was going for a certain look with white letters out and this was a good choice for me. I know what you mean about spending money. On order I have the MESO stage one tail light kit, Eibach pro sport suspension, Headstrong 3 leaf AAL and shim for the rear and Caliraised ditch lights with low profile mount, wiring harness and switch. I also have the parts to install the rear differential breather extension. I have lots to do once everything gets here. Try not to spend too much money lol

I have about 25,000 on a set of KO2’s and here is my take on them.

Cons; They are stiff and heavy. They can be slick in the rain. They get louder as they wear.

Pro’s; They are durable and can withstand off-roading in harsh conditions and withstand sidewall cuts and abrasions.

Being you will not do any serious off-roading I would go with a aggressive looking SL rated tire that is lighter for better MPG and give a nicer ride.

    Just my $0.02

    $2000 Stimulus checks anyone?
I mean that would pay for the rims and a nice set of 285/75/17s.
If ya know what I mean.

Anyone heard anything from Dustin lately?
I've been on the list for about 2 months and am gettin kinda twitchy.

Did you have to cut the oem lugs or did they fit in the holes on the back of the wheel?
