Got mine in today.
I was worried that I should have went with the Dark Gloss Gunmetal but now seeing the Matte Gunmetal in person I'm perfectly content.

I'm sure that some of the pictures posted on this thread are probably 16's. Don't know which ones unless they specify that they are.

 

I just pre-ordered the dark high-gloss gunmetal. I agree with everyone about the customer service. Dustin was great to work with. Looking forward to receiving the wheels.

Matte Black for me. I have the TRD red vinyl lettering for the center caps.. but I’m really digging the total black out lol plus I don’t want the weather to just immediately ruin the stickers.. I may put them on once the snow is all gone.

 

I hear ya. Yeah I got some of the decals in dark gray that I plan to use if I wanna get just a little color but still keep that dark out look. It says they come with color matched caps so I’ll be curious to see what mine look like in the dark gunmetal. May not even need the decals. Are they easy to apply later on? I guess it would be better to apply them after the install right ? Damn mechanics busting and scratching up ur sh*t like they don’t care lol.

 

Just got the call from Dustin tonight! my wheels (Dark Gunmetal Gloss) are in. final payment sent. just wanted to let ya'll know. keep your phones on ! He did tell me that it will have some special instructions with them and to tell shops to use hand tools to tighten the lugs so as to not damage them. has anyone had any issues with a shop doing this? I have a lifetime alignment service with Firestone so I figured i'd get the wheels mounted by them and an alignment at the same time. is that recommended ? I'm having them mounted on my current tires by the way since I have a lot of rubber left on them (only used 12,000 miles so far and they came with an 85,000 mile warranty). Bridgestone H/L Alenza Plus 265/65/17 highway tires.. and i'll be upgrading to A/T tires with my next tire change.

 

If anyone is still searching for the TRD aluminum centercaps (PTR18-35092 ) that seem to be out of stock and backordered everywhere, I found somewhere that has them.

Hey guys regarding the center caps that come with the wheels. I thought I saw somewhere that they come with "color matched" center caps ? but i've also seen some posts that mention a matte black center cap regardless of the wheel color chosen. I just want to know what's coming. I ordered the Dark Gunmetal gloss wheels will they come with a "dark gunmetal gloss" center cap ? I didn't opt for the stainless TRD ones b/c I wanted a dark theme and also bought the TRD decals from importequipment as others have listed. just tough to see a zoomed in look of their center caps once installed. if anyone happens to have a close up shot of a center cap (preferably in the Dark Gunmetal gloss) that would be terrific !

Might be hard to project on photos but got my wheels mounted today. Maybe I’m the first 2nd gen silver streak mica here with Dark gunmetal gloss ?, Did anyone notice any variation in side poke after having these installed? I was very insistent that they use hand tools to tighten and install only they agreed. Even left a first shop when the guy told me they have NO hand tools. Only impacts. Asked what happened when the power or air went out. He was silent so I left. Anyways. My passenger side seems to project or “poke” out further than mydrivers side. Any ideas ? Should I go back to have them recheck. Or is it possiblethey didn’t tighten one side in all the way? Drives fine. best pics I could capture assun setting down I feel it looks even morenoticeable in person. But I love the dark out look it gives my truck! That fresh appearance upgrade ! Had to go through some mud to store old wheels. So will need to clean then off to get some better better pics. But prelims
Also anyone got valve stem cap recommendations? These lime greens gotta go lol

Just got my TRD centercaps in and put on some TVD Zinc metallic emblem covers over the red letters.
Also added Silver metallic lettering to the gunmetal caps that came with it.
I think both look good but I'm digging the TRD contrast.
I also bought both black and chrome nuts but I'm gonna go chrome for now
These are gonna look so ballin with the 35/11.5/17LT Toyo AT3s I just ordered this morning.
What do you guys think?
