My son just picked up a '21 TRD Off Road, cement color. Cool truck, figured I would join here for some tech tips. There are lots of accessories and upgrades for these trucks and I can see some good times ahead for both of us, adding a few custom touches and some light wheeling.

Flashback I had a '90 Yota back in the day and it was a great truck, kind of wish I still had it now...

I am an "off roader" and always have been, thus the ridesdirt name, anything that has wheels and is driven or ridden on dirt, I like it! My current off road toy is a '90 XJ

There are literally thousands and thousands of upgrades, accessories and upgrades. I thought the XJ wormhole was deep, this Taco thing is probably deeper.

Already know we are in for the OEM all weather floor liners, LED bed lights and Tailgate lock. Have and had Weathertech's on several vehicles and tend to like the factory fit best. Have done my homework on the bed lights and tailgate lock, already ordered and have downloaded installation instructions from this website. Ordered the floor liners too... He bought this truck literally as they were unloading it off the delivery trailer at the dealer. I think the dealer may have added some of this stuff, all weather floor mats for sure, but they didn't get the opportunity. We actually saw it coming off the trailer... first for me.

Looking at a few aftermarket things, MESA has a few small items that look okay, like maybe some interior krome delete stuff, I'll search threads and look for pictures before we pull the trigger on any of this stuff. Will also be adding a bed cover, but will have to do homework on this item.

And get this; there is a sticker kit to black out the factory Off Road wheels. I know vinyl has come a long way but have a hard time thinking this will last... but I am interested. And it could bridge the gap until different wheels and tires are added.
