mud flaps as an option is because everyone trimmed the flaps when off roading or removed them completely.

I'd rather buy husky or Weathertech mud flaps than pay toyota for them!

My build date is the day before yours and I was told 3 weeks average to CO maybe 2, maybe 4 depending on when exactly trains and trucks filled up and rolled out of TX to CO and around Denver to deliver them. Seems the dealer might have better info once it is built.

Those are not mud guards or mud flaps ... each of which belong on the outside of the truck preferably by a wheel stopping mud and debris from hitting the truck. You are talking about mats ... all weather or carpet from the factory have various prices. (not being a dick, there seems to have been some back and forth about what is what up-thread) I'm starting with factory all weather and once Weathertech confirms fit i will swap and hang on to the factory should the day ever come I want to sell in case the next owner wants them. All weather mats and door sill protectors are running me ~150 if I recall correctly.

Mud guards and mud flaps are the same thing. They look kinda bad on most cars/trucks but they're legally mandated in most places, plus they would save your paint from debris being thrown up from the wheels. Not completely but better than none installed.

OK, this does lead me to a question. All my previous trucks had spray in liners (for the last few anyway and have not had the composite taco bed before) which were great in snow - nice sure footing. How do folks find the Taco beds for standing in during winter? I'm guessing a bed mat will be required. Pretty psyched to see Weathertech's option there - definitely would use theirs if it is well liked.

Does anyone know how long it takes for Weathertech to come out with products for new generations of vehicles? I want the mats.
