so back in the day (and currently too I assume) a popular mod in the Miata was to gut out the seats foam from underneath and it gave an enormous amount of head room. I bring this up because every test drive I love the Tacoma even more, and don't nesecerily mind the ride hight, but man that rear view mirror is literally almost at eye level.. it's annoying. Thing is, I sat in the 4Runner and boy was that nice. (This is NOT a what's better between the two type of thread, the 4Runner is obviously a bigger rig) I just hate feeling like the rear view mirror is in my field of view. It's like there's a dead spot where I can't see anything in the middle of the windshield lol.

Has anyone done any custome work to the seats? I'm 5'11, I'm not that tall and I'm sure there's taller people.. do you guys just deal with it?

Someone also had a shop remove some foam from their seats, just can't remember his username. Also are you aware that the 2016+ has two pivot points allowing you to raise the rear view mirror?

I double pivoted from day one and had no issues even with my dash camera hanging from it. I'm 6'3.
