I don't know what you are asking. The fog light mod keeps the fog lights on when you switch to high beams. What does your friend want to do?

    Ok, Sorry for the confuse
A 2004 Tundra I install a set of Hi/Low HID, after that, my friend cannot turn on the OEM fog light. I guess is the relay think the truck is on high beam, so will not turn on the fog light.
I bet if I can do the same fog light mod that tacoma dose on the Tundra, will resolve the problem.
    Am I right?
    Please advice.

The fog lights should come on as normal. Maybe he has a bad fuse or the HID wiring is backwards. Switch back to the stock fog light bulbs and see if they work.

Turn the hid plug around and plug it in. It could be a bad ballast.
