Fog Beam Width/Side Coverage

    Does anyone with the 3" square types of fogs (such as Rigid SAE D or Caliraised) feel the beam width does not cover enough of the sides.

    These types are typically mounted straight facing forward, whereas OEM fogs are flush with the angle of the bumper. I feel as a result the OEM provides a wider side coverage.

    Are there any mods to mount the square fogs at an angle?

    You are probably running the wrong pod. See this thread for covering all pod and fog options. If you bought something like CaliRaised, you will not have any side coverage at all since it is not a fog light. Take a look at the comparison pics.

    Im running the baja design squadron sport wide cornering and they throw super wide coverage. May be an option for you

    They do have very wide coverage, but they are not a fog light and not safe for street use. They have no cut offs so they blind oncoming traffic and for the same reason are not effective in fog.
