Got these LED fog lamps through eBay. They claim they're 240 Watts (for both) which comes out to about a 20 amp draw but I was able to wire them directly in with the stock wiring using a 15 amp fuse with no issues must be less amp draw then incandescent lighting????
The wiring was not getting hot at all after running them for about 10 minutes. I would like to wire them so I can use them while running my parking lights or use them without the headlights having to be on at the same time.

Ebay is showing that they are currently out of stock.

Point of clarification, those are not fog lights, they are ‘work flood lights’, which mean no cut offs, no designed beam pattern for street use and will actually greatly reduce visibility in fog. They are for off road use only.

As you have discovered the eBay claims are rediculously overstated. High end pods are 25-30w. No way those are anywhere near 120w each.

As 802coma pointed out, the anytime fog mod will accomplish running them without your headlights.

Here are nearly all the legit LED fog lights:

Yeah you're exactly right. they're more of a working light. I really liked the styling and that they fit exactly where the original fog lamps we're located. they don't shoot any type of pattern at all. They'll definitely blind oncoming traffic. (one of the reasons I only use it on my early morning commute when I'm going through the forest preserve area) there are tons of deer out there and these LED's really light up the sides of the road well. I would rather of had something with a more focused beam pattern but these work for me.
I'll check out that link you sent me.
    Thanks for the info.
