Yeah I don't think that the BHLM is gonna be hard I just have to find the time to do it. I honestly can't wait to see how this will turn out with the blue LED audi like running light strip. As to the tail lights I have an aftermarket set because I broke one of my OEM ones, and lemme tell you I love these tail lights.

I would love to see a pic of your fogs just to really see what you are working with. As to my "custom" fogs and headlights it shouldn't be too much longer before I get to work on them. My ot will end on this sat, and I'm prob gonna take some time to recoup from the lack of sleep. After that I'm gonna seriously attempt to get these done.

Im currently deployed but ill be back in the staes in less than a month. I have the worst itch to mod out here. ill try and have my gf take a pic of it so i can send it to you. i was looking at some led strips on superbrightleds.com to get some idea about how i want to try this. Get some sleep when you can and start modding :)

I will start modding soon, and you will be the first i send a pic of the fogs to. No rush for the pic of your fogs. What did you have in mind with the LEDs?

BTW much respect for you for what you are doing.

thanks for the support. :) she should have some pics done this sunday. As for the leds, i have no idea haha i was thinking maybe taking the fog lights apart and see how much room is availabe in the lens. maybe make a ring and wrap some leds around it, but i feel like it might be spotty. its sounds really confusing because i lose myself have the time haha. i really cant wait to get home so i can take a better look at the fogs and the truck.

    Greetings

How could I find the OEM wires for installing the foglights (OEM). I bought the switch and the relay, both are OEM. I found the plugs for the switch and relay, but I don't know where are the wires that goes to the lamps. The Tacoma is a PreRunner SR5 Doublecab 2009.

I was reading above and it should take about 15 min. If somebody can, please post some pictures of the installation process (OEM), I'll be thankful for.

    Welcome to TW!

The wire harness should be under the bumper near the location the fog lights would go....No pic, but someone will help shortly.

Okay, here's a really idiotic question - is there a trick to remove the 08 Tacoma fog lamp plastic housing insert in order to install a set of lamps?

Yes, lay down on the floor, reach up into the back area of the bumper, squeeze the filler on the sides while pushing trying to cock it sideways in the hole. Work it, work it...westside work it out, east side work it out..............

Does anyone have any pics or information on how difficult it is to replace the stock foglight housing with different ones I'm thinking about putting smoked housing in my 06 DC

Different as in the same ones only smoked? or completely different ones? Same ones with smoked lenses is piece of cake.....just unplug, pop out, swap & plug in

The same as the stock ones just smoked instead of chrome. So they just pop out ? No bolts or anything?
