Has anybody experienced leaks with the there HIDS? I have had 3 fog lights sent to me by omeparts123.com or parts by donwood. Every single one leaked. I have sealed the back up and everything, my driver side is still going strong. They said there is no quality control issues, after some poor service I was told a refund is all they can do.
I have to pay to have it sent back and then I will get my refund, kinda sketchy. Any one had problems like this? In general with HIDs and new factory fog light replacements?

Try regular bulbs and see if that solves your problem, or put a bead of high temp silicone around the bulb base where it meets the housing after it's screwed in. The leak is likely a crappy seal between the HID bulb and the housing.

That is what I was thinking. Because my stock driver side has been going strong for 2 year with HIDs. I going to send it back and get a refund and just re seal my old stock one that leaked and go from there until I can get one through my dealership. I figured it was ether very bad seals on the side of the light housing or not sealing in the rear.

It's easy enough to test, fill a bowl with water and stick the fog light in face down just deep enough so the bulb hole is sticking out. If water is still gettig in, then you know it's not pushing past the bulb.

Bad seal with the HIDs. I fixed until
I can get the time to put high temp silicon on the back of the bulb.

Glad you figured it out and won't have to buy another set.

I should have done that first but I just figured it was the parts dealers faulty parts. That is why I posted up to see if anybody else was having issues. Glad I got it fixed ether way.
