Has anyone done this mod yet, or similar?

    http://www.rigidindustries.com/mounting-options/46530

I'd like to see some pics and need advice on wiring into the existing circuit so that I don't have a redundant dash switch.

I wouldn't want the pods recessed like in the Rigid pics, but I'd prefer to see the actual pod housing, a sort of surface mount, or use flush mounts with the bezel exposed.

Maybe I could use the fog light blanks from a Taco without fog lights. Does anyone have those part numbers?

    Thanks in advance!

They have to be recessed some in order to mount them. Here are what mine look like. I used a fit kit for a tundra before they had one for the tacoma and modified it to work. For wiring I cut the Rigid harness behind their weatherproof quick connects and connected it straight to the factory fog light wires that went to the stock lights. That way I maintain the stock switch in the cab.
