Ah. It makes sense now. I'm theory it should work. I imagine there's a relay deep beneath the steering column. Or behind the dash somewhere that would be easier. Thing is, I cut the wire pretty close to the base it was attached to and don't know if I would be able to go the same route. Have you disabled your DRL's?

I would then say trace the wire back a ways so that you can reattach it if anything happens that you don't want to happen. I snipped mine way too short and I can't use it.

ok, so I did this mod a while back, switched to amber 921s in the corners and white 4157s down low. Installed resistors in the corners to stop the hyper-blink.. all is well.

BUUUT I am constantly getting looks and "the bird" every time I make a turn!! obviously the 921's are no where near bright enough...

the last few pages of this thread have me confused I guess...

What is the brightest amber bulb that I can run in the corners? 360* leds?

There are no bulbs that are bright enough to be dedicated turn signals that are as small as 921/194's. Not that I know of at least.

    HID PHILLIPS LIGHTS,
They are CK, if you wanna do the mod trust me the bulbs will work perfect. The link I put to Amazon is the exact bulb I bought and the come with resistors so pretty good deal. Just wire a hot wire running from your side markers to the empty slot in the socket for the turnsignal. If you need me to post pictures of what I did to better understand I can.

I'm good, just wanted to make sure as CK are differently wired. I have a spare set of sockets that I took the wires out and will use them:

I know you can change the parking light (157) into a (1157) socket, but I ordered a LED amber color that fits my stock parking light. I'm thinking of switching my wires around, you know parking light wire to the front blinker and front blinker wire to the parking light, but is it possible if I can put a 18ga wire into the empty connector on the front blinker socket and run it back to the new blinker so it now become a parking light?

Real easy but a very tight spot to work with.
