I see a lot of rum in these pics, you need to diversify

I did cut there and it works out just fine :not sure: The lights went back together just fine, sealed up well and I ended up selling them to another member. Where I cut looks easier to get back together than where you cut if I'm honest. Mine was sealing the lens back against the housing. I had two flat surfaces to bond together. You have to match up your edges and make sure they stay perfectly set while the adhesive sets.

It's too bad when someone posts a pic like that they don't have a location in their profile. I don't blame you- I wouldn't want new friends showing up thirsty either!

Could always mark the lens and housing before cutting so they line up when putting them back together.

I know you can align it rotation ally, but you then have to keep the edges perfectly aligned on top of one another so you don't have a big ugly seam.

Pretty sure you can throw the fog lights in the oven to separate them

Negative ghost rider. At least not pre-2012, not sure about the new ones. 100% positive you can't separate the fog lights in the oven, they are not sealed like the headlights.

Have you tried? I asked a couple people who said they used the oven method. I'm gonna try soon with a junk fog light and see. I didn't think so either.

No, there's no glue joint like the headlight, no separation point. The lens is attacked to the housing by heat welding of some sort. I cut the joint between the lens and the housing, it made a nice, clean separation, was fairly easy and the pieces mated together perfectly.

You definitely can't bake them... A bandsaw also works if you happen to have one.
