Very nice! I've got the same issue, the cut off sort of curls up at the sides. I agree with you about the Blazer, they're a good product for the money!

How do you guys get night shots? My camera sucks and I can't get a decent shot to show the light output. Should I just tape over the flash and just post the crappy pictures?

I just used my phone camera for those shots. The flash was going off that’swhy the light looks less yellowish than they really are. I would turn off ordisable the flash and see if that improves the picture.

Okay I got the 5000K bulbs in with the wire down. I am happy with the results. I prefer it over the 3000K. The only thing I dont like is that the cut off line is not as sharp as with the 3000k, not sure why...

Interesting... I'm trying to talk my dad into letting me install a set of these on his truck and I'd use the 4300K or 5000K. That's weird that the cutoff was affected by the bulb color.

Thank you for the proper use of "affected" vs "effected"... Nowadays it always brings a tear to my eyes when someone actually uses it correctly! :D

If you look at the right side of the beam it gets blurred against the wall. Not sure if the reflector bowl in the fog light has anything to do with it. Overall, I am impressed with the blazers. Definitely good bang for your buck! I am going to try to find a better wall to mess around with to make some more adjustments…

I don't think it's the reflector bowl because my cutoff blurs at the sides also (and I don't have any reflector bowl left to reflect light). I think it's just the relatively cheaper projector. The higher end projectors would (should) have a cleaner cut off, wider beam and no blurring at the cutoff.

I agree, I am going to chalk it up as they aren’t perfectand let it go… I am having secondthoughts about not using the relay harness. I was having some issues withflickering on start up. I did the anytime fog mod, so not where that circuitgets its power from. I am going to do an auxiliary power block to tap into forpower on all my ballasts. Anyone have any tips on doing this. I eventually wantto get a winch so might as well start preparing. God I hate mods they take allof my money...

I get one bright flicker, then about a fraction of a second later they brighten up, is that what you're getting? It's not enough for me to want to rewire them, I think the stock wiring is sufficient. When you do the fog light anytime mod, you're pulling power from a different place to trip the relay, the fog lights themselves get power from the same place they always have. I don't see a difference between pulling power from the fuse panel power bus or directly from the battery because the battery charges the fuse panel anyways.

For a secondary fuse block, Blue Sea makes a nice fuse block. Make sure your alternator/battery can handle the extra load.

It would flicker for about 3-5 seconds. What you say is correct about thepower supply and I agree. I just want to melt any wires that’s all... They allseem like 18-20 gauge wiring. I have the towing package from the factory sofrom what I understand it has a heavier duty alternator and battery. Any writeup on how to power the block up?

I hear ya. They should pull less power than stock once they're up and running. There's a large initial draw (not sure how much of a spike there really is) but after that they settle down to 35 watts. Larger wire couldn't hurt though!

As far as wiring up another power block, I'd pull straight from the battery. I'd try to find another battery attachment that would take the stock wire and another large gauge wire. Make sure you have a good ground for your power block also. No write up though, and I haven't done it myself. That's just how I'd go about it.

Any updates on your retro? I will probably ground back to the battery off of the fuse block. I found this write up that help give an idea of what to do, so I will probably go this route. Just have to make sure that the fuse panel I get has a negative bus on it just in case so I can ground to as well as get power.

Yeah, my retro is up and running, I just need to upload night shots! I'll get some pics of them installed on the truck. I just got the heat sinks a few days ago and need to put them on also. Been busy with the holidays and long work hours. I haven't done the fog light anytime mod yet either, that'll happen next week.

Updated second post with more pics. Will update 3rd post with light output pics later tonight when it gets dark.

They are. They still come on green but seem to go to yellow quicker and quicker the more I run them. Now it only takes about 1 minute before they're yellow. Originally it took a lot longer. They look sooo good, I keep finding myself staring at that cutoff when I'm driving
