Exactly as the title says. Since there has been some talk recently about switch spots and such, I figured I would present this idea. I've thought about this before, but never acted on it, especially since I don't have my truck anymore (had to sell it for various reasons when I got stationed overseas). I wonder how difficult it would be to take, let's say a Tundra headlight/fog light/directional lever, and modify it to a Tacoma. This would obviously involve some wiring mods and who knows if the Tundra to Tacoma plug would match. I would assume, as long as the plug is similar and if there's open spots on the Tacoma plug for an additional 2 wires, there can't be any other differences between wiring. The other dilemma would be the bolt patterns matching up. If this is do-able, then that would open up a switch blank for whatever other wiring/light mods you have. What do you guys think? I think it could very well be possible, but don't have a truck to tear the steering wheel apart and investigate. Here's a link of what I'm talking about...

by the looks of it, as long as there's no problem mounting it, only 2 small spade terminals would be needed.

Good idea but I'm more curious as to why you want this when you don't have a taco.

well, i thought about it when i had a tacoma, but for certain reasons i had to sell it before i got stationed overseas almost 2 years ago. i'll be back in the states in about 6 months and plan on purchasing another tacoma when i get back. was just throwing the idea out there to start some curiosity. was hoping that this would stir up some ideas from other members and wanted to get their opinions as well.

I appreciate your help fellas. I'm going to look further into as well once I get another Tacoma in a few months.
