I've been thinking about using some of my VHT Nightshade spray tint to tint my fog lights, however they are on an 08' model so the lenses are plastic and not glass like the 2012+. If I happen to mess up during the process and have to remove the tint then what can I use? I would think that using any type of paint thinner or stripper would harm or potentially soften/melt the plastic. Any suggestions? I read online that nail polish remover would work but wouldnt' the acetone mess up the plastic too?

Right on, I have mineral spirits. What about interior panels that were painted. I've head you can let them soak in brake fluid and tha'll remove the paint without hurting it. Anyone know if that's true? If so, how long do you let it soak?
