Actually, he doesn’t even mention anywhere “pod lights can’t be aimed correctly”.......please improve your reading comprehension....
pS......don’t want to be accused of being inconsiderate”, just trying to help you “educate yourself”

For a cheap trial - find the directions for an easy mod of H9 bulbs in the original sockets and try them out. Much brighter than the OEM bulb choice, little wattage change to stress the wiring - and the reflector optics retain the original cut off. The factory housings are way too far off the pavement to be "fog" lights.

The OP specifically noted he was looking to upgrade his "fog lights." His high and low beam headlights are a completely different story.

Lots of people modify their vehicles without regards to local laws or other drivers. Some of these modifications may get you a ticket. I’m sure you’d rather spend money on your truck and not a ticket. I was just trying to help.

Yeah kinda. The SS3 sports have a wider pattern and 30% higher intensity, for half the price. The SS3 pros are $50 cheaper than the KC and are nearly double the intensity.

KC makes some nice lights but their fog lights were outclassed a long time ago.
