Hi All, I just sold my Dodge and bought an 06 Tacoma 4x4 and am trying to hook up some Piaa Fog lights that I have had for years. I saw the plug for the factory fogs already there and followed a link showing how to remove the dash to access the fuse panel and switch area. I saw a 4 pronged wiring plug and thought all I need is to get the factory switch to provide power to the fogs. I went to a local wrecker and bought the factory fog switch But when I went to plug it in the little protrusion on the plug from the dash is located n the wrong place to and so is the little snap protrusion. Is this not the 4 wire plug in for the fog lights? I see no other possible plug in. I read here that the 6 cyl have wiring for the foggers? Is there 2 styles? I would have to cut the plug guide to enable it to fit the switch and it would be backwards?? The switch was from a 05 and mine is a 06 I thought they would be identical. Sorry for the long post.:) Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I have to re-wire the entire thing from the now factory switch.:( work/time/$$.... Thanks Ppl.

Fog light switch is top row on the far left under the vent.
Connector is the two pins closest to the edge of the switch are for the illumination, the two in the middle make/break contact to operate the fog relay.

Yes, the factory wiring is ground-true. The fuse box supplies power to the relay coil and the switch provides a ground to the coil.

    Thanks for the response.
I have the switch but now I need to install the relay in the fuse box then I am hoping I get the power to the front wires. I assume I will need a factory relay to enable the factory wiring.

You will also need to install a fuse, but yet, the relay sends power to both the lamps and the switch.

    Hi Rich91710 :)
I think I read the fact. relay is $70- if so I will wire my own in. Any idea as to where I would put the fuse if I can find a factory one way less than $70- ? Inline with maybe power to the foggers?

    Thanks for your input again.
