Hello gang: My apologizes if this has been answered somewhere already on this site, I did try searching but came up empty handed.

I am replacing my stock fog lamps (installed a new Body Armor front bumper). I am replacing with PIAA LP 530's lamps, which are LED. The PIAA wiring is super simple, no relays, etc. Does anyone know how I can utilize the existing Tacoma Stock Fog lamp switch in the dash with these new lights? I know the existing switch utilizes a relay, etc. which I would have to bypass. Would rather have the stock switch versus the little rocker switch that comes with the PIAA. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Why not just use the existing wiring? I believe the existing fogs are about 50 watts each.

Look on the existing fog light connector and you'll find stupidly small numbers. With that, you should be able to find a mating connector body and wires with terminals for it. That would make it plug and play...

Larzzzz - as soon as you wrote that I realized you are spot on. Thank you. Was thinking because the original was used with traditional bulbs and these are LED there would be an issue, but you are right. They just require 12 volts and the new ones don't have a relay at all. Will splice in a connector and will be off to the races :) Thanks for the quick reply and jogging my obliviously overtired mind. :)

    I think 05-11’ used H10 type plugs.
    12’+ used H11 style.

That way you don’t have to cut you existing wires.
