    Hello!

    Just a quick question.
Is it possible to wire fog lights in to my truck without wiring to the battery?

The stock fog lights or are you adding aftermarket ones?

The answer is yes either way, just depends on how you want to do it.

Is your truck a 5 lug or 6 lug.
Some trucks are already wired for the fog lights. (Most were 5 lug)
It’s a little more expensive this way, but it’s plug and play.

Without sounding too harsh, it sounds like you have very little automotive wiring experience. If so, I'd get somebody who's done this a few times to help you avoid burning your truck to the ground. It's not difficult, but done incorrectly, things can go very wrong.

    It is a a 5.
I've looked all over the front end and even behind the blank switches. It's not a prewired unfortunately.

Wiring it to the battery with a fuse, switch, and relay is the easiest solution.
Other wise, you’ll need to find an existing circuit capable of carrying the extra load from the fog lights.
    I don’t recommend it however.

    Awesome!
From everything I read that seemed like the best way, but I just wanted to see if there were any other options.

    Thanks for the great info!
