Just purchased a 22 Tacoma SR doesn’t have fog light but does have the wire plug if I buy the harness is there anything else I’ll need?

I suggest you read through this thread, I did when I installed mine, very helpful. Assuming you want OEM rather than aftermarket.

Suggest you consider Diode Dynamics over OE lights. They function way better. @memario1214 can fix you right up

I saw a 3rd Gen the other day with yellow fog lights. Don't know what brand, but they were very bright even during the day. Are you trying to go for bright just want them to have them?

    Yeah
Does your multi function switch stalk have a headlight ring? If not you’re gonna need that or an aftermarket switch wired in.

you just need some Diode Dynamics fog lights if plug and play. Don’t get factory fogs…kinda worthless

I bought my OEM fog lights like new for $50 in the 3rd gen marketplace, H11 45w wide angle and they work fine for me, didn’t want to spend $200+ on aftermarket LEDs after reviewing.
Some (all?) the newer models come with OEM H16 19W non-wide angle that are wimpy.

It’s funny how so many threads turn into ads for DD or tunes lol. I considered DD and saw too many photos of them shining up to the tops of trees like they were coon hunting, saying you had to adjust before install, some saying easy to adjust, who knows. Here’s an ad lol:

Maybe the newer models have a good adjustment screw like the OEMs, maybe not.

If you already bought your fogs then that is great. That said, having the DD sport model fogs I can say through dust, rain, or snow they are immensely brighter and easily adjustable....not to mention the build quality is superb. The yellow lenses help dramatically in heavy downfall of snow or rain. I have them set so they hit you in the nethers at 20ft. Good luck with the install, should be a piece of cake.

I’ve had mine installed over 2 years now. I installed Hella Xtreme Yellow H11 45W bulbs and like them. OEM fogs are easy to adjust.
I have no doubt the DDs are brighter, glad you like them. Just don’t shine them in my eyes haha. Though I’ve read this is a lesser problem with Sports than the Pros and sounds like you have yours adjusted well.
