    At the time I had that thing I drove a pretty sketchy mountain and you needed it for viability early in the morning. I always dipped it when oncoming traffic appeared.

    I tried that route, but I couldn't bring myself doing it to other people. Bought OEM LED from TW instead.

    All this time I thought I had driving lights. I might even look to see if they look yellow.

    My rant did sound Karenish, my bad! I was stuck in traffic last week and some fellow taco owner was blinding me and a poor Honda Civic driver directly in front and I’m sure others. It was like 5:20pm with plenty of daylight out. I get it I have aftermarket amber led fogs and I love how they look when turned on.

    You’re good OP, we’ve all been bent over something similar from time to time, just having a bit of fun with the choice of topic.

    I don't disagree with the OP. I can't say that it bothers me if others do it. I've never had a problem with any of the better headlights used on other vehicles. If you like the look, go for it. Most won't admit it, but looking cool is the main reason they do it. Sorta like running Raptor lights on a non-Raptor truck.

    Running fog lights when it isn't foggy just seems silly to me. I've tried it and the only time it helps is at night and in THICK fog. And then only when driven very slowly. I've been in fog so thick I had to roll the window down, hang my head out and look for the edge of the road. My fog lights made a difference in that. No other time. Fog lights only project 10-15' ahead and to the side. That isn't going to illuminate anything far enough in advance to be of any use at normal highway speeds.

    Don't look directly into the oncoming traffic lights.

    Or does ONE put your high beams on to indicate to the oncoming vehicle that their lights are too bright?

    Local LEOs like to tag people for flashing because it's not legal here, so I won't flash other drivers unless they flash me first thinking I'm on brights. I generally kept my headlights properly aimed in the Tundra because I could do it from the cab on the go, but losing that feature in the downsize... I might forget once I get stuff loaded in the bed or hook up the trailer.

    Well it appears that you've hit a cord with this thread and it's pretty obvious why civilization is in the shitter. But thanks for the effort.

    Is it because people are too sensitive and entitled or because they are too selfish and entitled? Either could be "obvious" from this threads posts.

    @50Buck

    I have driving experience in CA, TX and DE...no experience in Wyoming.

    Delaware is a Unrban/Rural state. Most every truck owner has fogs because we don't have street lights unless on a main road.

    It's an acceptable circumstance to driving here.

    It's based on location and I'm not here to argue/dispute the use of Fogs on state roads.

    My statement about legality was about flashing brights. Nothing to do with fogs. So far as I know in the US there's nothing on the books about it. I know in the UK they have laws and give tickets for improper fog light use, but that's across a really big pond. Has no bearing here. We rebelled for a reason.
