Fog Lights got wet then went off then came back on 3 days later

Anyone ever had this happen. We had heavy rains here in Austin last week and I was driving at night with my Fogs on and went through some water running over the road maybe 4 inches deep at a moderate speed. The fogs went out. Then next day I checked everything out and all seemed ok but still no fog lights. Well 3 days later coming to work this am and they came back on.
Maybe the front wheels threw water on them and they shorted? Once dry they came back on?
Any guesses.

 

probably once dry it works....keep it going and if it goes out again take back to dealer if under warranty
