fog lights in hids

    level kit aftermarket grill 5% window tint
    has anyone else tried to run hids in there fog lights. i have a set in my 2010 tacoma and they burn sometimes and sometimes they dont

    If your bulb is just the what they call it HID blue bulb and not a real HID with ballast , yes it will burnt more often.

    ATV trail dents, many, many lights, 4-6 beer cans.
    Can't see why you would, the purpose of fogs is for that low, wide beam pattern, HIDs won't make any difference in visibility, and only a marginal one (if that) in light output. If it's the aesthetics of having matching fogs and headlights, is it really worth the cleaner look to install them in the stock reflector housing and blind everyone with glare?

    Some food for thought. :)
