I recently bought some cheap fog light kit to go on my 2021 Tacoma off Amazon. (Temporary, still want it to work and look decent) Wired it all up per instruction and got to the end and realized that the fuse I was to tap into inside the cab of my truck wasn’t there. The video was for an earlier 3rd Gen model Tacoma with different fuses than mine. Any chance somebody can help me find a solution to hook it up on the OEM-like switch?
The fuse. I was missing was labeled “power outlet 2”

Just use the power outlet #1 if you have it, its a similar circuit.

You could also use the mirror heater fuse in the engine bay. As long as its a non-critical circuit with over 15a.

BF777FE8-DC98-4E62-B512-31529F19030A.jpg I’m guessing the kit came with a relay? You can get one of the smaller oem type switches and connect the relay, ground, and instead of adding a circuit to a fuse, connect it to the switch like this.

Something I’d probably end up doing, I did not know they came like that

I tapped into power outlet 1 and still the fog lights won’t come on, night time now and am now starting to here a click-like buzzing coming from the relay. Ain’t no mechanic/electrician; so not too sure what that means. Know something isn’t right though from the sound of it.

It’s very easy to install, most difficult part is pushing the wires through the firewall.
