I live in a rural area and I prefer to have the fog lights on. I have never had anyone "flash" me and indicate the fog lights bothered them.

x2. i live in a rural area as well. also it’s not illegal in TN to have them on all the time. i want to do fog any time. i hate the dark spot right infront of the truck with hi beams on.

I don't know how it could have even bothered them especially since I was in front of their car. That's the part that gets me.. Oh well, I guess I'm over-thinking it.

That's why I have a rigid industries dually facing backwards on my truck. Someone with brights on behind you? Turn that thing on for a couple seconds and theyll get the point real quick.

In my neighborhood we have pretty narrow streets with cars lining the sides. Driving with the fogs on gives me greater visibility to the sides of my vehicle so I can see people potentially crossing the street or animals running out in front...it's saved a few people's/animal's lives already!

    Not foggy? Turn em off!!

Unless there's no oncoming traffic. They are very annoying coming at you.

Really just a pet peeve of mine. Rarely do they blind me, but fogs ARE high beam bulbs. So they are damn bright. It annoys me that a lot of people turn them on the look "cool".

I used to turn my baby fog lights in my 96 during the day because it looked sexy, but then i went with 100watt spotlights on the front after i got my bull/safari bar :p so now i DO NOT turn them on unless im rallying ;)

I only use factory ones give you improved peripheral lighting on dark city streets so I have them on at night. Bad weather, rain, snow, fog, the PIAA 540s go on.
