The thing to remember is everyone runs the fog lights in the weather...which must mean they are on all the time...Duh???
Because, whether there is weather or whether there is not there is always the weather whether you like it or not.

Perhaps "inclimate weather" would be better. Yes? No?

Who ever said that is full of shit and just trying to scare people so they stop having them on because he does not like them. I'm in Ohio, our laws state that you can not have more them 6 lights on in the front of your vehicle at any one time. So...headlights makes 2 (right and then left side), side marker lights brings the total to 4, then add fogs;...new total equalls 6!

Guess I need to turn the fogs off in Ohio at night. lol I have 8 on between the heads, sides, turns, and fogs since I did the DTRL mod on the turn signals. Good to know I suppose if I ever go there.

If your fogs blind truckers- You are doing it wrong. If they blind a dropped sport import- You should roll right over the top of it.

I only use mine if it is raining or I am on a really dark road. I am in southern Louisiana so we have a lot of ditches. They help to light the side of the road more than anything. So mine dont get that much use.

How is that any worse than the stock day time running lights tons of cars/trucks now have from the factory? If anything, these should be better since they're lower than eye-level.

The stock day trime running lights are orangy yellow. Well they are at least in Canada. I also find the fog lights blinding. Why do people even need them on in town when the weather is great? I think it is blinding to other drivers and it looks a bit silly.

On this truck, yes. The "DTRLs" for this truck are the turn signals. On 98-01 (and possibly other years) Corollas they were the main headlights. Same deal on my 2007 Rav4, and most other vehicles aside from Tacomas and Tundras.

So what's better? Lower mounted fog lights, or higher mounted head lights designed to shine further and have a more focused beam than fogs?
