I just realized that even though my foglight green light is on (when I turn on my headlights) they only seem to come on for the brief time that I press in the button, as soon as I let go they go off again.

Anyone experience a similar issue? What could it be?

Are these OEM Fogs or Aftermarket add on's?

They are OEM but with LED bulbs.

Are your high beams on? The fogs only work on low beam.

Did this just start with the LED Bulb installation?

Not too sure, just noticed this a couple of days ago. Maybe the button is broken? Maybe it’s not properly turning on off?

That would be my guess also. Broken switch not latching.

From the drawing below you can see that the switch is for the ground wire of the relay and it would have to latch on for the lights to remain on. It looks to be a defective switch for the fog lights.

Thank you, this is super helpful. It looks like that's the first thing I will try. Cheers!

I also wanted to add that the switch IS illuminated all the time, pressing it in however many times does not turn off the illumination. No matter what I tried, the fog lights don't stay on, one time I started it up last night the fog lights were in fact on, but as soon as I pressed the button and then pressed it again to turn back on, the same problem happened. I'm now pretty sure it has to be the switch.

The switch illumination is separate from the fog light power.
The switch is illuminated by the tail light fuse and switch.
This also helps point to the fog switch itself being th issue.
    I think JimmyH is correct.

I’d feel comfortable throwing a switch in it:thumbsup:

Installed the switch last night, and that did the trick. The button now stays depressed and the lights work as they should. Cheers!
