The fogs look bone stock honestly. Unless I'm missing something.

Chrome grill, no scoop and blk mirror trim means its not a sport model.

    Could be an off road

Or it could be a v6 model with the sr5 ii package I think.

    Whered the pic come from?

If its a long bed then its not an off road either..... They never made a 4 door double cab long bed off road.

Ya... those are the factory fog lights.
Reach behind the bumper of your base and push the cones out.
The OEM units slip right in.

The pic came off Google images.
I added fog lightsto my 13 AC 4x4. They suck and really dont work at all. From what I understand, they are the same ones that they are putting on the camrys.

In the pic attached to the original past, they look larger. This is why I am asking what model is shown in that image, so that I can find one and measure the lights.

.... I originally wanted to replace my front bumper with the one shown in the original post ...but it would probably be easier and cheaper to add lights that work.

^ I did the same with my '12. The fog lights seem to light up the tree tops more than the road. Doesn't appear to be anyway to adjust them well either.

If you have a 2013, you can't just swap in a 2005 - 2011 bumper without changing up the rest of the front end. The fog lights from a 2005 - 2011 will not fit a 2012+ bumper, they are different size lamps.

The original post is the '05-'11 front end.
    You have the '12-'14.

The older fogs are larger. To use those fogs, you would need an entire new front end including bumper, support brackets, headlights, grille, and hood.

What are you expecting out of the fogs? Fog lights are not there for you to see things, they are there to cut through and under fog to allow others to see YOU without backscattering against the fog and blinding you like your high beams will.

They are fog lights... not auxiliary high beams or "driving lights"

    There is an adjustment.
Fogs have a very sharp horizontal cutoff and it should be directly in line with the center of the housing.

Interesting .... fogs on the Silverado, Rams and Nissan lit up the road quite nicely .. just like "driving lights". Would expect nothing less from Toyota...

Except you didn't get Toyota lights. You got aftermarket lights.

The fogs in my '03 Tundra and my wife's '04 Rav4 light up the near-field and "ditch" area just fine.

Come on man .. how could you possibly make a statement like that ?

The fact is, they are Toyota "OEM" that were installed buy the dealership prior to me taking possession of the truck.

If you want more light output with the fog lights then another suggestion would be to add a HID kit to your fog lights or even the new LED light bulbs you can put will give you more light output

Yeah ... Im currently looking around for, maybe, some 3 inch 55w add ons. Problem is I dont want to add a bar. Was thinking maybe something rectangular to fit below the grille ... gotta look around. Thats probably the cheapest solution.

A HID kit is just a bulb you replace your fog light bulb with for a higher output of light. As well there are new LED bulbs that replace the factory halogen bulb that have a higher lumens

HID will blind the $hit out of others when thrown into a reflector based housing that hasn't been optically engineered for an hid bulb.

    Halogen works off a filament

Hid uses an arc to excite salts/minerals and has different characteristics than a filament.

I've ran 2 types of hids in my fogs for shiz and grins...... Neither lasted long at all.... As soon as I parked my truck behind my girls car at night and turned on my hid fogs, I understood that all those other drivers I seen shielding their eyes were not over reacting.
I then sold 1 set, and trashed the other.

Iirc the h10 and h11 rebased bulbs don't even come with a glare shield which may help glare....

Ur risking others safety on the road.... If they are temp blinded due to this illegal modification (hids in any vehicle not equipped with hids from the factory is illegal across the US), u can be held solely responsible for the accident even if u didn't touch the other car.

If u want hid, do a proper projector retrofit, or buy a vehicle with a factory hid option.

I cannot speak about the new led options..... I remember a few years ago the manufacturers and sellers would post at the bottom of the page that the led lights for use in the heads and fogs were for show only and did not have sufficient output to use on the road.

LEDs have come a long way however and this may be a decent option..... But I am unsure how the factory optics will spread the led lighting. Maybe someone else can chime in about these debased led fog bulbs in factory housings.

Then why did they install a set from the Camry, when they had access to the lights that belong on the Tacoma?

    Did they aim them?

Take the truck out at night, park it about 20ft away from a wall, open the hood, and unplug the headlights so all you can see are the fog lights.
You should see a straight line across the wall level with the lights.
If they are too high, they won't light up the road (they'll hit the treetops and blind other drivers).

    Please do not do this.

There is a silver Tacoma that I frequently encounter on my drive to work in the morning, and every time that asshole gets behind me, I feel like pitching a crescent wrench through his fog lights.

If that asshole happens to be on this forum, yes... I will say that to your face.

Ill try that .. but I think they are pointed toward the ground. Also, I, my wife and son all bought cars the same day. Wife bought a 13 Camry, I the 13 truck, son the 13 Corolla.

Check out pics of the Camry and Tacoma with Fogs. You will see that they are the same.

Ya, they are either similar or identical units.
The '04 Rav4 looks the same as the '05 Tacoma at first, but on closer look, it's just slightly flattened on one of the sides.

The first DIY fogs going into the '12+ Tacoma were ebay units sold for the Camry, which is why I assumed you had aftermarket when you said "Camry".
