    Yep, 4.0 V6.
I ran outside and took a couple of pics from the engine side and the inside.
Do I run these wires through here?

The kit I purchased (supposedly) has the switch, relay, harnesses/wiring (from switch) to lights and the fog lights.

Yes, that's the spot. Tape the wire up to a piece of coat hanger and with some dish soap it goes thru easy.
All you need to buy is a fuse tap to power your switch

What kit did you go with? I'm to the point of Amazoning my own. Also, what did Toyota say that part was for if not for the fog Lights?

I purchased/ordered a winjet Tacoma Fog light kit. I have no idea if it will work until I attempt to install it.
The P/N you're asking about in my previous post was for a harness to the engine which may or not include fog lights. In my case, it does not.

Did you get it sorted ? This video can help with making the Mod happen

Orientation of relays may vary but if you take the time to decipher you'll sort it out.

I am in the process of doing my '07 Taco at the moment I'll try and post pics soon. Cheers.

If you see the camera in your handle and the wires going into the tailgate when you open it flat then yep

so I have a 2014 Prerunner with the 2.7, how do I tell if I am prewired for fog lights? I bought a kit and am going to try to install it. I pulled one of my blanks and did not see any connections hooked to the back of any of the blanks.

See my above post. No 2.7 trucks are prewired.

    Not sure.

The back up camera harness runs from the receiver area (if you have one) into the passenger side middle of the tailgate. If you have a harness running into the tailgate, then yes.

Just open your tailgate like you're loading something and look in the gap between the tailgate and bed. If you don't see a wire with 2 clips going into your tailgate, then it isn't wired.

Finally posting the results, fog lights look great. I purchased this kit (~$32 on Amazon). My pre-runner was not pre-wired.

Thanks to hx989 for the tip about dish soap. That made it easier!

It took me about 3 hours because I'm slow and not as flexible as I used to be.
