I am trying to wire in some fog lights on my 2011 Tacoma. However I am not sure how to get the little punch out button that is to the left of the steering column, out. Once I get it out, how do I find the right place in the fire wall to run the wire through to the new switch I am putting in? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

I got my first 4x4 in 1972...haven't been without one! I still like Chrome!
I took a coat hanger and pushed a hole in the rubber seal around the steering column.
Tape your wire to the coat hanger. As I recall I put a little liquid soap on the wire so I wouldn't tear the seal.
That was in 08 and no problems..
