I had a Mazda 3 with Auto Headlights, and the fogs would come on when the headlights were on. Would be weird if that wasn't legal as there wasn't anything I could do lol

Are you sure there wasn't a separate fog light switch that was in the "on" position? My mom has an '06 Mazda 3 that does not "force" fog lights to be on in any way.

Nope, not sure at all lol. I sold that car a long time ago, but always thought it strange that the fogs came on with the headlights.

As your mom has the same vehicle as I had, and you can see this first hand, I am inclined to believe that I was mistaken.

A good H11 bulb like the Philips I mentioned is totally compliant and legal. It's not "offroad only" or anything like that. It even has a "DOT Compliant" emblem on the package and in the documentation.

Super easy. If I recall you reach down next to the radiator. Turn and pull.

Joe, you must have a long arm....(one-handed operation).. That is how I eventually got to mine also..... They sure won't waste any "extra" wire do they..?? I think I removed the plug, then the bulb and reversed it for installation. If you are really having any issues, it real easy to pull the grill and get at them... Hardest issue was trying not to touch the bulb or touch it to the rust protection film I have...

Just curious, why are some bezels flat edged and others aren't? I've seen them both ways on Off-roads and Sports. Limiteds get the the Chrome, non-flat versions and the Pro gets Rigid Industries.

Trim level difference maybe? After switching to the Rigid Pro version, I have two flat sided ones off a sport laying around if anyone needs them?

Left side is an SR5 bezel.
    Right side is Sport/OR bezel.

For US market I've only seen what I've stated. I ran painted limited bezels for a while because I couldn't find SR5 part numbers. I think the SR5 shape compliments the grill shape better than the straight line offered in the Sport bezels.

Oh yeah, the flat sided ones look like generic AutoZone pieces

Funny cuz all the cheap Chinese replicas are molded from the SR5 bezels only.

I had the dealer put them during service, they charge me $28.00. if the weather was a little warmer here in Mass I would have tried to do it my self . Not sure how they did it.

It's super easy. All you do is pop the hood and look down near the grill and you have clear access to the bulbs through the engine bay. Also, why do you have a power wagon logo on your grill? lol.
