Ok, so now its my turn.

My girlfriend doesn't know what to get me for X-mas and I mentioned I wanted a foglight kit for my Taco. She said send me a link, so I decided to forward that message here. What kits do you guys recomend? I see a few different kits on EBAY but it is difficult to see which kit is better than the other. I would like something that fits well and looks oem, but do not want her to purchase oem.

    So, send me some links:D!

    try 1sttoyotaparts.com

    part #84160-04010 $34.75

Can anyone tell me what else I need other than the switch, the lights and the relay? I see I may need a connector as well...I am going all OEM for my fog lights.

Also, There are several relays, some cost more than others. Can anyone tell me a part number?

    Thanks!

Go up to your local dealer, they will give you a price if you go to them, instead of emailing them.

And depending on how much she wants to spend, maybe some Hellas? Or are you trying to fit them in the stock location or what?

    $11 shipped to Canada

It has an old part number but apparently it is identical to the 90080-87010 relay that I required they have just changed the colour and part number over time.

You may want to consider the following if you stay OEM inside the cockpit:
    1. Switch Part # 84160-04010 -- $40.04
    2. Connector Clip Part # 90980-11090 -- $2.93
    3. Terminal Part # 82998-12340 -- $4.53
    http://www.toyotapart.com/Tacoma.html

When you purchase the switch from a dealer, it will not come with the connector clip.

The terminal parts get a little pricey and you can make your own terminal repairs by purchasing molex pins that fit the connector clip

Molex Pin Part # is as follows:
    Molex # 16-02-0130. Vendor Part # Digi-Key WM2512-ND.

So here is what I am getting for my OEM fog lamps. Please tell me if this is all I need. I do know that my truck is pre-wired (V6 dual cab) base.

    2 -- 81211-aa030 lamp assemblies
    1 -- 84160-04010 switch
    1 -- 90080-87010 relay
    1 -- 90980-1109 connector clip
    1 -- 82998-12340 terminal part

    That should be it!!!

    Whew.

Has anyone changed the stock 35 watt halogen bulbs in their Taco fog lights to 35 watt HID bulbs? HIDs are so much brighter and more like sun light than halogen.
