Fold-A-Cover Elite

Installed my G4 Elite today. Took my time, ended up taking about 5 hours to complete with a couple breaks. Really wish they came up with something better than the rubber seals for the ends. Will see how they hold up. Sprayed around it with a hose a little to test how well it keeps water out....definitely leaks in a few places so not sure if i'll be keeping anything that I don't want to get wet back there.

 

Did you guys have to take off the tailgate for the tailgate seal?

 

The seal attaches to the cover, not the tailgate. No need to take the tailgate off.

 

I ordered through the Fold-a-Cover website and they added a tailgate seal. I have seen other manufactures suggest removing the tailgate to install the seal. Just wondering how people did on their install.
