Hey all. I was hoping to ask a favor of someone. I have been going back and forth on the fold-a-cover and a UWS tool box. It's going to come down to what fits my most used tools best I guess.

I was wondering what the opening size between the front of the bed and the cover when it is opened. I want to see if I can fix my Bosch L-Boxx system through the opening at the front of the cover. I know I can just open the tailgate and put it in the back if I have to, but would prefer to be able to put it at the front of the bed.

    Thanks in advance!

Isn't that a tri fold cover? If so you can simply open 2 out of 3 of the panels?

I think it only folds open by one panel if you open it from the front like I want to. If you open from the back it folds open all the way.

Thank you for measuring. That helps a lot. Think that might be too small for my needs, will double check the Bosch box.

    Thanks again!

Made a box. Plus bed can be used as a trunk .Lower tail gate and throw things in. With pop a lock its secured . Just another option.

Thanks Kurt. I keep going back and forth. Stopped at the dealer today on the way home to look at another truck with a 5' bed (I am still waiting for my truck to ship from the factory... its been ready for a week now) and think I will go with the cover as I think a tool box just may take up too much space.

I really like your box that you made to keep things from moving around. I'll look into making something once I can get measurements when I actually have the truck. I'll order the cover in the meantime so it will be here when the truck finally does.

    Thanks again.
