Mentioned a long while back....but used to enjoy Q pellets back in Commie-fornia. Not sure if we can find them in Texas. Never did enjoy the Traeger pellets, just never got a whole lotta smoke from them.

Just remember, some leaks are a good thing. It helps move out and replenish fresh smoke/air and prevents staleness and lessens the creosote build up.

“Seems” the consensus is that Lumberjack are near the top as far as prices and availability? I’m fairly new to pellet smokers, however I do read quite a bit.

Is that an outdoor refrigerator?

I picked up an electric smoker. Ribs just don't do well in a pit. What I like is it's double wall insulated so it can keep the temperature more constant.

I did the burn in tonight so it's ready for the weekend.

Look into an AMAZN smoke generator. I use the dust model and love it.

And of course, somebody beat me to the other one by a few minutes. Oh well, still a long time until football season. Also looking at spending a little more on a Kamodo Joe Jr. portable, and there is a shop here who sells slightly used ones that are returns/repaired, still factory direct, and still with lifetime warranty for $300
