Yeah I would put the Cajun Bandit rotisserie at the top of the list. I have a Weber for the kettle, 3rd party Amazon one for the gasser, and Cajun Bandit. The Cajun Bandit one is reversible so if you get the 22" then it will fit a 22 WSM or Kettle. The motor brackets are the same on all 3, and interchangeable. So think on the motor side there is likely only one large manufacture out there.

Like Rick said the CB motor will also run off batteries, mine is for a 18" WSM or will fit the Jumbo Joe. Always thought it would be cool to set it up on the JJ when hunting the North Shore of Lake Superior out in the middle of nowhere for a long lunch spinning a chicken. Seldom see a grouse between 11 AM and 4 PM anyhow so would be time well spent.

Took the day off to do some training on live birds with the dog. Got up to 72 and about the same in humidty both of us are shot. But had 8 lbs. of Costco wings in the downstairs fridge that need cooked today. I don't like to freeze meat on the last day if I can help it.

8 lbs. will not fit on the 22" kettle and didn't feel up to doing 2 batches. Another reason to get a 26" kettle... So decided to break in the grillgrates some more tonight. They are well seasoned already been using them at least once if not twice a day since got them. Tried something a little different partly at the request of one of my sons.

    Because Costco.

    8 lbs wings.jpg

They fit, not a lot of room to spare but a full package fit.

    full grill.jpg

No Buffalo wing sauce. And they turned out pretty darn good. Around 40 minutes popping and sizzling the whole time.

Yep... some prefer sea or kosher. But I'm happy with a ton of smoke on regular table salt.

So I wanted the CB but didn’t want to spend too much. Asked the members of a weber kettle page and most said good things about this. So my wife is ordering me the stainless one with the upgrade “bottom” lip. Looks like it’s got a power cord also instead of battery. :fingerscrossed:

Update: I will post pictures this Saturday. Planning on doing two chickens!

    That should work

There is another company that makes rotisserie equipment, OneGrill so think there are basically 2 of them. There is a guy that has posted on another site that started making roti accessories and know that he uses OneGrill and resells some of it. But he makes a lot of universal equipment too most of his stuff will fit any of them. http://octoforks.com/

Been wanting to get those octoforks or at least a basket for awhile. Hey isn't Fathers Day coming up?!

Look forward to your pictures!! The way you cook it will be awesome, no doubt about that.

I've read about those on TVWBB and sounds like a balancing act loading them. Some seem to like it some not so much. But that seems to be common with many things :notsure: Would never stop me from trying it though!

Who the hell comes up with this stuff?!

God bless them, just finished lunch.

    grilling.jpg

    da bomb.jpg

Damn that was good. And might add that cutting half of one up and smashing it on top of a brat cheese burger takes both over the top.

Was surprised how smokey the corn tasted with the Weber wood chip box smoker. Not sure how the corn on the cob even ended up on the grill, must have fallen out of a birch tree somehow :notsure: Tomorrow I will stop eating carbs. After I grill some fresh pineapple spears with brown sugar and cinnamon tonight to go with the left over chicken wings. Hmmm bet the pineapple would be good hot straight off the grill with some ice cream on top

NOT a fan of avocado at all so the first things that came to mind are what did that poor bacon and cheese do to you to deserve a fate like this.

LOL. Hey doesn't matter what you wrap in bacon, if the meal doesn't turn out well you can always toss it and eat the bacon. Just had half of the other one for lunch warmed up. And I kept the avocado and cheese damn it was good. They are high in potassium. So are bananas. Hmmm don't think I've ever wrapped a banana in bacon stuffed it with cheese and grilled\smoked it.. Yet :p
