An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
My fathers day / birthday / "don't worry about making a list for Christmas" gift came in finally. I've been needing a new smoker (the old one was dying a slow and painful death) and the wife surprised me and bought this.

I used that grill/smoker for many a year! Made a lot of great stuff on it. On day I decided to grill on the smoker/charcoal side after solely smoking on it for years and had a big fire... Cleaned out the grill and then it rusted apart in a matter of weeks. Had to dispose of it after that. But really enjoyed that pit, especially after a few mods.

    Also... :hungry:

My god those are beautiful Tri tip!!!

I’m assuming your cooking it on your grill? Just reverse sear it for what ever doneness you like then give it a hard sear on both sides.

Seasoning is all up to you! Enjoy and please send pics this way!!

Yes I’ll use the 18” weber brownie. I’ll keep on simple and just season with salt and pepper

I agree, awesome marbling. That’s why I couldn’t walk away. Even the wife was excited

Tri-tip is usually a 4-5lb piece of meat, like a roast. Those 4 total are less than a pound? I wonder if it's part of a a tri-tip roast that's been cut into small steaks, or...? Whatever way you cook them, don't go over medium rare. Looks like they are well marbled!
