How's the shrimp addition? One of those that sits wrong in my head for some reason with for no reason at all. Haven't tried it.

Will you post a direct link to it when it's up and operable?

The shrimp were pre cooked, deveined and tails off. That’s the way I bought them.
They were a great addition to the dish, still crunchy NOT mushy.

Yes. I'll make hidden page on our site that can only be linked to from here. There will be three products on the page - regular rub, spicy rub, and the Thermopop sku.

I should have it done, shortly! Thermopops about to go on order.

Second attempt at tri tip, better than the first but haven’t perfected it quite yet. Still a damn good dinner :hungry:

Keg smoker is all tightened up and ready to roll.

This might be our best one yet! Switched to a larger ball-valve on the front and eliminated the capped pipe nipples on the sides. It looks cleaner and will still be able to draw more than enough air to cook up to 400* or so. These things have no problem settling at 250* - 275*, however.

The polished plate on the front looks better than the standard brushed I've done in the past. Rather than having it etched, we vinyled the logo, so there is a little color to it as well. The plate stands off the keg, so no heat concerns or anything. It's an outdoor vinyl and I don't anticipate any weather/elements related issues - we have some on a sign in our front yard that looks new after 2 years.

The drum, lid, exhaust damper, ball-valve, and ball-valve handle are all powder coated. The lid handle and the nut securing the ball-valve are the only things painted. Painting that nut was a nice bit of detail, if I say so myself :D.

Goes up for auction (unless they raffle it) tomorrow at my Alma Mater's golf tournament. I'll be on the course, taking as many swings as possible .

Last picture has my little helper. She is so fascinated with these little keg smokers. I was going to make her one for Christmas, but she likes helping and keeps saying she wants to make one. I can't take that experience away from her, so we'll come up with a different plan for Christmas and I'll let her help build her own.

A bit curious about that beer you have in the Pilsner (Pokal) glass.

Oh yes, Drink Texas! Their IPA and Gose are quite good. Might be time for a trip to the brewery/Taproom.

For tonight's paring with what's coming off the Jumbo Joe we have a nice double rye IPA from Deep Ellum Brewery, TX. At 9.5% ABV, she offers a bit more than your average bud or Coors.

Good eye, it’s a “house brand” I guess you would say. The grocery store Lidl in our area has outstanding private brand beers, cured meats, cheeses, etc and all at great prices. I love that place lol

Don't have that chain around here that I'm aware of. Don't recall it back when I lived south of ATL in Henry Co. There are some good Czech Bakeries around here though. They make great waist line enhancers.
