lowe's had the limit on the labor day sale last year too, i think. i've never had them stop me. i mean, there's 3 different places to check out (lumber area, main checkouts, and garden center). all it would do is cause them more labor to make me go to 3 different cashiers. i think they likely wouldn't question it unless you were buying an entire pallet of it.... or unless you get that one cashier that is brown-nosing to get a raise.

A couple of years ago my Lowes duffed their signage and had it "Buy one get one" well the bags were packed together as one unit. So they allowed two units (4 bags and seems they were a full twenty pounds then) for $9.99. However they quickly changed it!!

Why don't you guys just use the weber cubes to start your Chimney? I can lite 3 or 4 with just one cube.

Agreed. I'm so tired of burnt paper pieces flying everywhere and now I have an excuse to bring some Doritos into the house :woot:

I used 2. I'll probably use 3 or 4 next time to get the fire going a little faster.

Fair enough. I get it. The weber cubes are just bad ass. Almost as many uses as duct tape

I've also heard of soaking cotton balls in alcohol, but never tried it.

I had fewer people at my spring BBQ awhile back. The benefit was I had 2 racks of ribs and a few pounds of brisket left over. I love my vacuum sealer. Small portions, sealed and frozen. Just thawed one out today for lunch and popped it in the oven. Brisket on the left, ribs on the right. Yum!
