After 2 years of way higher than requested temperatures, Traeger is finally sending me a new controller with only days left in warranty.

Thanks fellas, thats what i was looking for... I'll plan on 12-14 hours, factor in a 3-4 hr rest and i can throw it on around 10 - 11 pm on Friday night. My egg holds steady much better at 240-250 so i'll plan on that, and then bump down when i wake up in the morning. Kid has some bday parties I have to take him to starting around 12:30 so hopefully it will be ready to pull by then.

oh I forgot to add, I almost messed up my temp prob...had it stuck on the side of the smoker and guess it got to hot as the screen went blank and everthing went haywire. :anonymous: I let it hang off the side and it cooled off and was fine. Temp probe works great!
