Well after a “nothing goes right” kind of morning, I finally got my butt on a couple mins ago. Only 3 hrs later than I hoped :anonymous::annoyed:

    9D5D66EC-9B11-4559-B3A9-B903896C63E9.jpg

Started out I couldn’t get to sleep last night then finally fell asleep sometime early morning and didn’t hear my alarm go off. Then had a new propane tank and hooked it up and the blasted valve was bad from the exchange and blowing gas out when turned on, so had to take it back to the store and exchange. Now having to go into work for who knows how long on my day off :censored:

But on a good note I’ll have some (hopefully) delicious pork tonight :hungry:

I've had nothing but trouble with propane tanks, don't really have any place close to have them refilled at a decent price, so I end up just exchanging them. I'm researching and saving my pennies to get a good pellet smoker hopefully later this year :fingerscrossed: don't think I have the patience or talent to deal with a stick/charcoal burner lol

No your pain on the exchange tanks, it is hit and miss for me. Slowly weeding them out and just biting the bullet and having mine refilled.

Pitboss is a good pellet smoker...you can get a 22" weber and then put a temp controller on it.:D
I found a smoker in decent condition next to my dumpster...only needed a couple bolts and everything was there. I welded a couple grates and added a side fire box which cost me more than the smoker;) I just need to seal it up better.

Place down the road charges $28.88 for a metered fill 20lb'er. Canadian Tire & Costco charge $9.99 flat rate. Pays to drive that extra mile for me.

I had a pic somewhere, its just basically a charbroil smoker. I need to paint the side fire box since it burned off the factory paint...
